It all started with a self introspective idea, intensely filled with a sense of culpability coated with interrogative instances & apprehended inferences from the occasions. The realization of either having being transformed, flipping around, switching & make over; fortunately or unfortunately & intentionally or unintentionally; from being an ‘odd’ in to one of the countless heads from the ‘crowd’; or simply the other way round.

The source, origin & backdrop of the FB status although unknown & untraceable in the memory cells; yet it was aptly the result of playing by the words as usual. In just one spurring moment, it all spontaneously struck just less than after a couple of days of updating the ~FB Status~; while revolving  around the ideas & thoughts & mostly brain storming & stressing the tiny brain cells & nerves for a while; to conceptualize this yet another articulate creation. An instinctive attempt not merely to showcase the discrimination & thin line of difference & later conveniently split or even sideline the ‘odds’ from the ‘crowds’.

So while scratching the heads & fingering out the keys for a while; to explore more into the terminologies, so as to acquaint with & squeeze out the meaning from the words. It was interesting to know a bit more about the term ‘Odd ‘ as an adjective implies the quality of being unpaired, occasional, strange or unusual, or a person who is viewed as eccentric.

Just while exploring further another abbreviated word of the term ‘Odd’ was referred to as ‘Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) as a diagnosis described as an ongoing pattern of anger guided disobedience, hostilely defiant behavior toward authority figures which goes beyond the bounds of normal childhood behavior. People may appear very stubborn & often angry. Several peculiar common features of ‘Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) includes excessive, often persistent anger, frequent temper tantrums or angry outbursts. Children & even adolescents with ODD often purposely annoy others, blame others for their own mistakes & are easily disturbed.

Likewise the other broader angle of this article is ‘Crowd’; is a large & definable group of people, while "the crowd" is referred to as the so-called lower orders of people in general (the mob). A crowd may be generally definable through a common purpose or set of emotions, such as at political rally, sports event etc, or simply be made up of many people wandering & minding their own business. Everybody in the context of general public or the common people is referred as masses.

Without digging more into the technical statistics, vocab thesaurus & generic comparative analysis; so moving back & spotlighting & focusing on the odds & the crowds who are trying to market & selloff themselves without a price tag but having aspirations of high end brand. Needless to enlist or even think about such ‘Odd man out’ words, sentences, signals & symbols, thoughts, proverbs, quotations & hell lot stuffs.

So, carrying the attitude & spark of having the odd instincts; does not necessarily serve the purpose to overpower the attention seekers & spotlight gainers. The insights, conspiracies, tactics, strategies of the counterpart can be tracked down by progressively observing & critically signaling the vibes of the opponents mindset, holistic behavior, mentality, perception, sentiments, emotions, feelings, faith & belief at large; in other simpler words; playing upfront mind games, for a change.

Connoting precisely, subliming the identity into neutrality; to nurture & sharpen the proactiveness & reactiveness within the self. In contrast, the crowd or herd psychology is concerned with the synchronizing the behavior & thought processes of individual crowd members & the crowd as a whole.

 Without entangling much more into the politics, philosophy & human psychology; having a firm & assertive opinion of self; above all making it heard & understood & later convincing & persuading in the best possible manner to get a favorable  & responsive opinion on the same without exerting a single pound pressure lies the crust. At times, dilemma to have best of both the worlds, or at extreme times, to alienate from everything & to have none; or even at the most extremist cases opting to be the ‘odd against the odd’.

Having taken the glimpses; there are some odds in the crowd & as well there are crowded odds. It’s all up to us for sure, whether sometimes we have to be a odd man out for d ones crowded around us; blindly being one of the heads amongst the crowds; lead the crowded odds against the crowd; lead the odd against the crowd; or simply halfway running behind the odds & experimenting with the crowds & mobs out there.

So leaving behind on the note of floating & hanging & dwindling between the odds & the crowds & simply dicing between the odds & the crowds; in dicey cases, events, situations & experiences.

In the bottomline, having played a bit with the words; for a while; its just like, for some we may be a head amongst the crowd for a moment & then the very next moment being a odd. Or just to reshuffle again; we are just ‘odds for the crowds’ & ‘a head from the crowd for the rest odds’…….

Hoping that the theme will not be perceived & opined by the countless crowds on offended grounds; & especially for the odds; it may have been appealing for weighing the other side or rather the extreme side of the odds & to its contrast; as well the crowds will be enticed & persuaded with the intensifying angle of ‘one side of the other side’; the other way round………..
