~Death of a Device~

Disclaimer: The characters, places, events mentioned in this article are purely fictional which is based on non fictional incidences. Any resemblance to any such characters, places, events has to be purely coincidental. The wacky creatures out there who are technically, mechanically, electrically, chemically etc related & attached with machines, gadgets, devices etc throughout their every activities engaged, tasks assigned, round the clock for every matter of second are given due concern.

It may not be so usual when we give due consideration or even give heed to, when some or the other electronic gadget, mechanically operated device, machine or any such brilliantly designed appliance is conveniently working or even at its not so good times, when it is not functioning as per the requirements or even at its worst times when it is non operational or has become dysfunctional due to its rough usage, expiry of working life span & innumerous natural & artificial reasons for any device to become ‘useless’ in layman’s language.

But then, just one thought struck like some short circuit bangs while dealing with around several technologically sophisticated devices & instruments. Some disturbing factor revolving around an unusual death; rather more appropriately, a brutal murder of a device which serves us in the best possible ways; or the other way round, which literally makes us slaves to totally depend on such devices, machines etc for even slightest of the effortless task, which is hardly a matter of seconds & couple of fingers magic to be carried out.

So getting back to the sensitive point of the ‘death of a device’; be it a natural one or even a wicked & evil act of killing a device for any reason which need not be thought of specifically, but just for the allusion purpose & enhanced perceptive thought; it can be financially profitable, convenience, lifestyle quotient, generation barriers, perception etc are evident proof for killing any such unwanted device.

Having given the preface about the demise of the device; the main point that lies here; considering the other side of the death of a device; for instance, in normal sense & circumstances; one would probably scrap out the not so productive machine in exchange for some meager salvage value just like some bundle of scraped newspapers. But ultimately storming over the weirdest contemplation of what is the end result for that device which has ill fated artificial death due to accidental experiments, voltage shocks, sampling errors, atrocious disposal and so on. To the worst of the crisis, to set ablaze the device or just throw the device from couple of floors something like second, third or even the uppermost floor or possibly terrace for special effects, during the ghostly midnight hours or simply silent afternoons, to serve the mischievous & evil instincts. The episode of death of the device & either the story of this article doesn’t end here; but instead for some, destroying the lifeline of the device may certainly boost to carry out the funeral proceedings in best dramatically cinematographed scene to emotionally leverage to confess for the criminal offence to kill a device with sinful yet notorious intentions.

So without further repairing or restoring & reincarnating the dead device; leaving the device & the article on this note; that the next time, when you attempt to scrap out, dispose off or undertake any such similar activities (intentionally or unintentionally kill brutally or otherwise like a silent death) on any of the devices & gadgets; better think twice, that you will be physically & by all means replacing such devices & gadgets of one generation; for upgrading to their newer generations; which may have its own pros & cons; just like any ideal son cannot be replaced in place & footsteps of his admirable father, in any of the known circumstances & events. Till then, experience & imagine of the safe, sound & happy moments cherished & spent in remembrance with those favorite devices & gadgets of all times.
